Stockholm, Sweden again has put itself on the world map of Muaythai with an unforgettable night of Muaythai action and entertainment. With Oberg beating Dzhabar in the final of the WMC Super 8 Contender Qualifier and the Contender champion Yodsaenklai knocking out Levin Artem from Russia, the night had many more high lights.

Sweden’s own Chris Foster won against Alfonso Marquez from Spain for the WMC European Title. Virgil Kalakuda and Ole Laursen went toe to toe with Kalakuda taking the decision. Another crowd pleaser and much anticipated fight was the bout between beautiful boxer Nong Toom from Thailand and Pernilla Johansson from Sweden. Nong Toom won by split decision.

The WMC has proved once again that it is not necessary to have many title fights on a card and that it is much more important for the fighters to move up in the rankings. This is why the WMC is the authoritative world recognized governing body for Muaythai under the directive of the Royal Thai government.
