Muaythai Countdown to the Emmys Gala

 

There are only two weeks to go before the 40th International Emmy Awards Gala, to be held November 19th in New York at the Hilton Hotel.

“The Challenger Muaythai” is nominated as one out of four top shows in the category “Non-Scripted Entertainment” for the 2012 International Emmy Awards.The nomination shows just how much the world has fallen in love with Muaythai, its ancient traditions, its values, and its sporting appeal. Muaythai is the full package.

“During the Gala, the International Academy will present Emmys in nine program categories as well four special awards. Glee Creator Ryan Murphy, will receive the 2012 International Emmy Founders Award while Korean Broadcasting System President & CEO, Dr. Kim In-Kyu, will receive the 2012 International Emmy Directorate Award. The International Academy will also present special Founders Awards to two global television legends, actor/director Alan Alda and writer/producer Norman Lear in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the International Emmy Awards Gala. Both Mr. Alda (M*A*S*H) and Mr. Lear (All in The Family) had programs in distribution in 1972, the year of the first International Emmy Awards Gala. ”
