WMC Intercontinental Title Battle at the Ignition Muaythai Event, Perth AUS
22nd of April saw the exciting battle for the WMC Intercontinental 57kg Title between Kate Heuston (WA Thai Boxing Centre) v Alexis Rufus (England).
This bout was fought hard over all 5 rounds. With the crowd cheering for the girls all the way through the bout. Alexis constantly pushing forward with punching and kick combos. Kate was scoring well with kicks to Alexis’s lead leg and landing solid punches. Throughout the bout Kate dominated in the grapple landing elbows and clean knee strikes taking the bout on a unanimous points decision and becoming the new 57kg WMC Intercontinental Champion.
