The Birthday of a True Champ!
Today marks an epic day in the Muaythai Calendar as the birthday of the legendary Ramon Deckkers. Tragically he was taken away from us at an early age but today would have been his 48th birthday.
A multiple time Muaythai champion, Dekkers was the most respected foreign Muaythai fighter in Thailand. He was the first non-Thai to be crowned Muaythai boxer of the year in Thailand, and has also received the highest Thai honours.
The WMC pays respect on this special day to a true legend.
