Mr Chujaroen Raveearamwong was one of Thailand's leading promoters and one of the founding members of the World Muaythai Council. He was known for his positive outlook on life, pleasant personality and needless to say his love for muaythai and the Kingdom of Thailand. The World Muaythai Council and the International Federation of Muaythai Associations would like to send their prayers and condolences to his family and loved ones.

IFMA President Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan has received the official letters from the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas Bach, and President of the Association of IOC Recognised Sports (ARISF) Raffaele Chiulli. The letters of confirmation and congratulations have been received just shortly after the 138th IOC session unanimously voted on the approval of IFMA and Muaythai to be fully recognised by the IOC.
