Buriram was the host of the 2022 Grand Prix and certainly, muaythai was once again part of the attraction at the Chang International circuit. Thailand's elite came together to compete at this special event celebrating muaythai as an Olympic recognised sport and continuing to promote muaythai as a soft power of the Kingdom of Thailand. After 2 months of weekly events of the Rajadamnern world series sanctioned by the world governing body of muaythai, IFMA. The final round in the welterweight division is on the way to decide who will be representing their gyms, and most importantly themselves. Gent Thainight took place on Saturday the 1st of October, a muaythai gala organised by the Belgian IFMA Federation of Muaythai, BKBMO and sanctioned by the WMC and IFMA.
