A Rebellion is Born

The Night of Rebels was a massive success with many ups and downs with 36 fights following IFMA and WMC /MTBD rules including 2 WMC interstate titles.

The show featured fighters from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Austria showing an extremely high level of junior fights. There were IFMA current junior world champions and 1 former world champion with great performances all around.

The main card featured a female elite fight between German national team member and World Games athlete Atanea Flores and the several-time Czech national champion Klara Strnadova. It ended in a close points decision in the favour of Atanea Flores.

The first WMC Interstate title bout set at 61,23 KG was between young fighter Leon Balbach from Fight Team Oppenheim against German national team member Aldo Leone from Pro Fighting Lampertheim. Both fighters began technical and showed good skills in the first round with Aldo leading. The second round started well but then Aldo received a blow leading to a referee stoppage so Leon took the win by TKO in the 2nd round.

The 2nd WMC Interstate bout was between Manuel Aman from Treverer Fighters against Lukas Söntgen from Crazy Tigers set at 79,38 kg. It was a close first round but then in the 2nd Aman received a well-timed blow which resulted in a doctor stoppage so Songten emerged the victor and the new champion.

The WMC would like to congratulate all parties involved in putting together this amazing event and a special thank you to WMC Representative Jens Wilke for all his ongoing hard-work.
