Australia vs Thailand!
Friday the 22nd of June will see the latest edition of the Toyota Revo Championship co sanctioned by the WMC. The event will feature a Super 8 competition featuring international athletes with a big cash prize for the winner and also a Toyota truck. There will also be a WMC World title in the 63.5kg (Super Light weight division).
Chamuaktong is the current and two times champion beating Yodpanomrung Jitmuangnon in December 2016 then successfully defending his title in August of 2017 against Ishi Tatsuya from Japan. He is known internationally and in Thailand is considered one of the best in his division in both the prestigious Lumpinee and Rajadamnoen stadiums.
Challenger Jayy Tonkin is not your average 18 year old and started training from an early age. Over the past few years, Jayy has been living in Thailand as a full time athlete. He has fought some of the best athletes in Thailand, including the legendary Singdam Kiatmoo9, who he even managed to drop with an elbow in the first round.
This fight is going to be very interesting as both athletes have been competing at the top level for some time so fireworks are to be expected.
From all at the WMC we wish both of these athletes the best of luck!
