Bobo Sacko vs Chadd Collins Confirmed for December
Big news from the WMC this week as a fight which has been in the pipeline for some time has finally been 100% confirmed. Bobo Sacko vs Chadd Collins is now set for the 14th December in the Pierre De Coubertin, Paris at Golden Fight.
Bobo Sacko began training at the age of 11 years old coming from a rough area in Paris which he describes as a ghetto. He is one of the most notable athletes in muaythai in France and holds notable wins over Rafi Bohic, Singmanee Kaewsamrit and Liam Harrison to name a few. Recently he has just signed a contract with the ONE championship so will be more active across Asia over the forthcoming months.
Chadd Collins who is nicknamed the Shark also began training at a young as his father owns a muaythai gym in Queensland and has been based in the Revolution and Sitsongpeenong gym in Thailand for a number of years. Chadd has been making a name for himself in the the prestigious Rajadamnern and Lumphinee stadiums in Bangkok where he competes regularly. Chadd beat Pakorn and very nearly toppled the legendary Saenchai in what was a very close fight during Thai Fight and was also the first Aussie to compete for a Lumphinee title.
Andrew Scott the Sport’s Director of the WMC stated that “muaythai in France is stronger than ever and their athletes continue to thrive in Thailand especially in the Lumphinee and Rajadamnern stadiums”. “We would like to thank the President of WMC France, Pascal and the entire Golden Fight team for making this fight happen and for continuing to promote professional muaythai at the highest level”.
