Chochlikova vs Pircher: World Title Glory

On the 23rd of September, sparks will fly as the Current WMC world flyweight champion Monika Chochlikova will make her first title defence. PML Professional Muaythai League which is sanctioned by the WMC boasts a stacked card of Slovakia’s hottest prospects and will be held in the vibrant city of Trencin. The event is also held in conjunction with RWS and is titled the Road to Rajadamneren where fighters that prove their worth will have the opportunity to fight at the the prestigious Bangkok stadium in the forthcoming months.

Monikan Chochlikova, representing Slovakia is the current WMC world champion, having defeated Turkish superstar Funda Alkayis by TKO in round 5 in her last world title fight. Monika also received one gold medal at the IFMA World Championships and the World Games. Fresh off a win against Karaked Por.Muangpetch with a third-round stoppage at RWS at the Rajadamnern Stadium, Monika’s next goal is to defend her WMC title.

Stepping up to the challenge is Magdalena Pircher representing Italy. Magdalena brings a wealth of knowledge to the fight and won the WMC European title in March, finishing with a points decision against Spanish opponent Claudia Perona. Magdalena has stated that she will leave no stone unturned in the build-up to this fight and is not looking to go home empty-handed.
