Ethan Geffen Becomes the New WMC MAD Champion
On October 14, 2022, Freedom Fighter Promotions had its 8th event in just its first year which was sanctioned by the WMC. Freedom8 was promoted at The Arena in the Royal Kingdom of Jordan in the city of Amman.
There were 15 Muay Thai fights that night with 11 countries represented from USA, Brazil, Canada, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, Palestine, and of course Jordan.
The main fight of the evening saw USA’s Ethan Geffen (World Freedom Champion) VS Iraq’s Hokar Hakim (WMC MAD Champion) in what was a chess match. Hokar was looking to keep Ethan outside with his body kicks, while Ethan was looking to block the kicks to find his way on the inside. In the 2nd round Ethan found his way into land a few elbows with one of those connecting and the fight was stopped with Ethan becoming the new 63.5kg WMC MAD Champion.
