Full House at the 2014 Kings Cup

The highly successful Kings Cup gala event on December 5^th, 2014 was a huge success in celebrating His Majesty’s 87^th birthday. The Kings Cup saw many VIPs in attendance, including representatives from foreign embassies, the United Nations, as well as celebrities from sporting and muaythai circles around the world including FISU Secretary-General and CEO, Eric Saintrond, as one of the guests of honour in attendance at this prestigious event.

Dr. Jarin Suankaew Chairman of the King’s Foundation made an emotional speech congratulating the World Muaythai Council for receiving official Royal Patronage from His Majesty the King of Thailand. The audience was packed with celebrities in attendance with national and international press covering the prestigious event. Over 30 embassies sent representatives to the event to participate in the beautiful candle ceremony in honour of His Majesty the King of Thailand. Muaythai Live put on another impressive performance which captivated the audience and showcased the true spirit and cultural art form of Muaythai.

It is always been an honour for the World Muaythai Council to host such an event and we look forward to next year in continuing this grand tradition.
