Hong Kong Gearing up for the WMC I-1 World Muaythai Grand Xtreme 2014
The Hong Kong International Trade & Exhibition Centre (Star Hall) will feature another world-class event, the WMC I-1 World Muaythai Grand Xtreme, on Monday, 25 August 2014, with some of the world’s best muaythai fighters participating in this prestigious event.
Former WMC world champ and winner of the Emmy-nominated reality TV series “Challenger,” Mardsua will defend his WMC I-1 belt. The challengers are Frank Giorgi, the WMC Australia champion and also one of the 16 contestants of the Challenger muaythai show, Alex Oller, South American champion from Brazil, and Igor Danis, a former I-1 Champ from Slovakia.
The undercard is full with top-class fighters. The female fight will be Germany’s Michaela Michl verses England’s Chalinene Bassinah, for the I-1 Women Champion Belt. The local talent also will certainly be taking on fighters from Thailand, England and Greece.
Promoter Kim Ip stated that this is the strongest super four for the heavily contested and prestigious belt and it will be the luck of the draw of who will face who in the semi-final bout.
