Lion Fight 16 Delivers in Las Vegas

The July 4^th weekend in Las Vegas was packed with excitement as Lion Fight 16 put on another world class event. The Muaythai fight card provided the excitement as advertised and it was a memorable night for all parties involved.

The main event bout for Lion Fight’s Super Lightweight title featured American Muaythai superstar and WMC ranked Kevin Ross vs Australian WMC Champ Michael Thompson. This fight did not disappoint and Ross took the fight to a game Thompson. Thompson was unable to come up with an answer to Ross’ ferocious onslaught and in the end, Ross won the title with a unanimous decision.

The co-main event was a bout between American Tiffany Van Soest and Italian fighter Sindy Huyer. Van Soest was able to stop Huyer in the 5^th round after a hard fought match. Also featured on the fight card was Thailand’s Rungravee Sasiprapa who took on Filipino Adrian Morilla. Morilla started the fight strong, but the steady and methodical Sasiprapa slowly took away the rounds from him and wore him down with his technical striking and a steady barrage of body shots. In the end, the veteran Sasiprapa won via unanimous decision.
