The International Academy of Self-Defence and Combat Sports of Monaco in cooperation with the WMC are pleased to announce that the Second Edition of the Monte Carlo Fighting Masters will be held in partnership with the Peace and Sport Organisation (L’Organisation pour la Paix par le Sport).
June 14th will be a historical day for muaythai and the Municipality of Monaco. The Peace and Sport Organisation (L’Organisation pour la Paix par le Sport) under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness of Prince Albert II of Monaco, and the International Academy of Self-Defence and Combat Sports of Monaco have decided to work together to promote the culture of peace through sport during this highly anticipated event, where some of the world’s best muaythai athletes will compete for 7 WMC World Titles.
Proceeds from the event will be contributed to the Peace and Sport field programs, which support disadvantaged youths across the globe.
“Owing to their values, moral code and structured practice, combat sports, are a unique tool for encouraging integration, dialogue and learning; the very cornerstones of sustainable peace” said Mr. Joel Bouzou, and added that he is very glad to partner with this extraordinary event, which will provide a new platform for action and recognition, both for Peace and Sport and for the Principality of Monaco.
