Monday Motivation: Yodsanklai vs. Marat Grigorian
In the recent Kunlun fight promotion in China, Thai superstar and WMC Champion, Yodsanklai, took on Armenian-Belgian, Marat Grigorian, in a highly exciting bout.
Grigorian is a strong fighter who fights on the Showtime promotion, and is known for his hand and KO power. In his last Kunlun bout he took out Thailand’s Aikpratcha with a big right hook.
Yodsannklai is a multiple WMC Champion, as well as the 2008 WMC Contender Asia reality show champion.
The fight did not fare well for Marat, who showed a lot of heart, but in the end, it was Yodsanklai that won the fight. Yodsanklai utilized hard kicks to Marat’s arms, or the ‘cracking the shell’ technique, which Yodsanklai is an expert in, which took away a lot of Marat’s power in the later rounds.
