Saturday the 22nd December in the beautiful city of Perm, Russia saw an evening of world class muaythai action put together by Muaythai Factory.

Muaythai Factory” is a series of professional tournaments that will be held in 2019 in the cities: Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Makhachkala, Sochi and Kemerovo. The strongest athletes of the country in four weight categories during the year will fight for the title of champion of Russia.

The highlight of the evening was three fights, two for the title of intercontinental champion and one European title according to the WMC (World Muaythai Council), in which the stars of the muaythai world took part in.

WMC Intercontinental Title
66.68 kg, Alexey Ulyanov (Russia) – Pakorn Musipon (Thailand)
This was one of the most anticipated fights of the evening with both athletes displaying great sportsmanship. Pakorn just stayed ahead on points and took the win back to Thailand with a very big smile on his face.

WMC European Title
69.85 kg, Artem Pashporin (Russia) – Ayman Nayanesh (Spain – DR Congo)
With Both athletes displaying the full arsenal of techniques this was a very close fight but in the end it was Artem who got the judges approval much to the joy of his many fans in the audience.
MTF Sudsakorn
WMC Intercontinental Title
72.58 kg, Magomed Zainukov (Russia) – Sudsakorn Som Klinmee (Thailand)
Magomed came out determined from the 1st bell throwing some amazing shots while Sudsakorn remained composed landing shots on the back foot. At the end of five hard fought rounds it was the Russian who went home victorious as the new intercontinental champion.
