Muaythai Uprising in Finland
Saturday the 6th of October in the idyllic city of Porvoo, Finland will see an evening of muaythai entitled ”new era” WMC Fight Event put together by Mr Mika Pietilä /Porvoo Thaiboxing Club. The event which is sanctioned by the WMC will feature international athletes flying in to face Finnish opponents alongside the headlining fight which will see Kari Viinikainen from Finland and Filip Waldt from Sweden go head to head for the WMC Nordic title.
The WMC has recently nominated Mr Pertti Nurmi as the first Finnish WMC Official Promoter in Finland who has many plans for the WMC in the region including later in the year to bring one of the biggest names in muaythai Jomhod Kiatadisak out of retirment to face a UK opponent.
