The biggest domestic Muaythai fight in UK history is finally happening between two of the best in the welterweight division.
Charlie “Boy” Peters , a three time Muaythai world champion is currently placed second in the UK rankings , has huge wins recently over Thailand’s Pakorn P.K seanchai gym , Irelands Sean Clancy and Frenchman Haziz Hilali to earn his shot at “the Hitman”.
The 28 year old technician from Double K gym in Kent has sixty fights to his record is trained by Kieran Keddle and has been waiting patiently for his shot with delays to the bout over the last 12 months due to an injury and fight commitments of Harrison.
World renowned Harrison , an eight time world champion himself has a “whos-who” on his illustrious career with wins over Japan’s Yamamoto , Frenchman Haccoiune Bannoui , Thailand’s Anuwat Kaewsamrit and Nampon PK Sterio to name a few.
The 32 year old powerhouse , with over a hundred fights to his name is based out of the Bad Company in Leeds and trained under Richard Smith has held his no.1 spot for ten years.
On July 7th Britain will know who is no.1 , coming from the prestigious Indigo at the 02 in London.
