Poland Welcomes a New WMC World Champion
Sunday the 26th of March will forever be a day to remember for Polish athlete Martyna Kierczynska from Poland as the day she became the WMC Bantamweight World Champion. Martyna put on a fantastic show against Viktoire Bulinova from the Czech Republic as part of the main event.
The bout went the full five rounds with all judges scoring in favour of the Polish athlete much to the joy of her many fans and entourage seated in the stadium.
The event featured an all-star cast of neutral technical officials who were flown specially to officiate on the world title bout, pictured from left to right Frederick Johnson (Sweden) Amnart Lindholm (Thailand) Robertas Šiuška (Lithuania) and Saulius Seskevicius (Lithuania).
From all the WMC we would like to congratulate Martyna on her win and also send a big thank you to the Polish Muaythai Federation for putting together a world-class event.
