SMTF Welcomed by the Thai Ambassador
It was a momentous occasion and honour for the IFMA Swedish Muaythai Federation to be welcomed to dinner by the Thai ambassador of Sweden to Thailand on Monday at the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm.
Her Excellency Ambassador Kanchana Patarachoke hosted a dinner in honour of Nicole Kaiser, President of the Swedish Muaythai Federation and members of the Swedish National Team to the World Championships (Bangkok, Dec 2021) and the European Championships (Istanbul 2022).
Also present was Patricia Axling, an IFMA gold medalist from the European Championships.
On the agenda was the cooperation between the two parties in helping to spread the historical heritage of muaythai throughout the country.
Her Excellency Ambassador Kanchana Patarachoke was impressed to see the progress of the federation over recent years and is happy that Muaythai is very popular in Sweden with many Swedish IFMA and WMC champions.
