Sofia Olofsson: The Undisputed Champion

Sofia Olofsson has conquered both the amateur and professional muaythai scenes during the last 12 years and has become someone who many consider to be the best female fighter in her weight division.

Sofia began training at the age of 18 years, training out of the Odenplan Gym in Stockholm, Sweden where she quickly caught the eye of the coaches as a potential future champion.

In 2012 Sofia was put forward for the Swedish team where she went from strength to strength and to date has received 5 gold medals from IFMA championships.

In 2016 Sofia fought Meryem Uslu from Germany for the WMC European Title winning by TKO in the fourth round.

Later that year Sofia fought Parita Nongprai Padpho from Thailand for the WMC world title emerging victorious.

Also in 2016, Sofia received the Athlete of the year award from the International World Games Association then went onto win a gold medal at the World Games in 2017, an accomplishment she describes as one of her best to date.

In 2017 Sofia successfully defended her world title against Iman Barlow from the UK who many had considered to be the number 1 pound for pound female fighter prior to the bout.

Sofia has proved herself in both the amateur and professional circuits as the best female fighter in her weight division and we will continue to watch her career with growing enthusiasm.
