Russia was the overall best team followed by Turkey, Belarus, Ukraine, France and Sweden. The Scandinavian teams also rose to new heights with Sweden, Denmark and Norway gracing the podium.
2023 host of the European Games, Poland, showed their ambitions to make their homeland proud by winning gold in the 81Kg division and also directly qualifying for The World Games.
There are certainly many multi-sport games to look forward to in the near future and we can’t wait to see these athletes on centre stage at The World Games in Birmingham, Alabama!
