Thai Ambassador Presides Over Thai Danish Tournament
The Danish Muaythai Federation under the presidency Hans Olesen, has gone from strong to stronger over the last years.
Under the presidency of Mr. Olesen Danish Muaythai has been building on grass root development, inclusion and equality. This has been very successful and the 2022 Danish Tournament highlighted and showcased this strategic development.
Athletes from all regions of Denmark participated at this event and H.E. the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand participated in the event giving the support of the motherland especially after the full recognition of muaythai by the IOC.
The event was the official national qualifications to select Team Denmark for the upcoming senior World Championships in Abu Dhabi, and the youth World Championships in Malaysia.
Team Denmark will also travel with a large delegation to the European Championships in Istanbul.
The Danish Muaythai Federation is very hopeful that they will ascend the podium to ensure the final qualification spots from Europe for the World Games in Birmingham, USA.
