Thai Stadiums Likely to Remain Closed Until at Least June

The Covid 19 Pandemic has changed the whole world and life as we know it with the sporting world been no exception. Countries across the world have banned all major sporting events to deter the spread of the disease with Thailand being no different which saw the close of its muaythai stadiums in March.

Originally shut down for a period of 14 days the ban was extended as cases unfolded and the extent of the pandemic became apparent.

New information from the government suggests that the ban of sporting events will be one of the last restrictions to be lifted. It is now likely that the muaythai stadiums will not open until June at the very earliest as the government continues to contain the spread of the virus.

One thing is for sure, fans will be over the moon to see some live muaythai action when the stadiums reopen as at the moment it definitely feels like something is missing from our lives.
