The Results are in from Immortal Champions

It was a cracker of a day on Sunday the 12th of September as Immortal Champions hosted a night of muaythai action at the Clapham Grand in the UK. The best homegrown athletes from around the country all came to face off at this prestigious event which boasted a stacked fight card as well as 2 UKMF titles on the line.

Josias Gomes vs Thai Barlow (Winner) UKMF 55.3kg British Title‘A Class’

Muaythai competition requires first-class skills which can only be acquired through many years of hard work. Both fighters have this and demonstrated why they are the two U.K. premier athletes in the division. Josias Gomes pushed all the way, but Thai Barlow took the victory in an epic contest, and now eyes a bigger prize.

Kieran Peart (Winner) vs Bradley Heason UKMF 72.5kg British Title.

The final bout on the Immortal Champions event was a fitting finale, with two of the UK’s finest athletes in the Middleweight Division vying for top spot. After a number of short feeling out exchanges, clinch and knees dominated the action. This was shaping up to be a great contest, but following a fierce exchange of head punches, knees and further clinch-work, Bradley Heason sustained a leg injury which left him unable to continue. The referee called a halt to the contest in round one, Bradley will be very disappointed, but Kieran Peart is now the UKMF British Middleweight Champion.

From all at the WMC, we send our congratulations to the whole Immortal Champions team and UKMF for putting together a top-notch event and we are looking forward to the next installment.
