Thongchai Sitsongpeenong Wins WMC Intercontinental Title

One of the biggest Russian muaythai gala took place in Chelyabinsk, on Friday, December 13^th. Khayal Dzhaniev from Russia and Thongchai Sitsongpeenong from Thailand met on the ring to compete for the WMC Welter Weight Intercontinental Title (68,9 Kilos).

This evening was important for both fighters as they strive to make the way into the WMC ranking. The crowd was cheering for the Khayal Dzhaniev all the way through the bout, as Thongchai Sitsongpeenong was delivering punches and kick combos. To the pleasure of Thailand TKO was declared after 3^rd round. It was a world class performance by Thongchai which was not intimidated by the capacity crowd and cold weather but all respect must go to Khayal which went toe to toe with the Champion and a rematch is already in discussion.
