Viva La France!

Nowadays France is earning its spot as one of the top countries for Muaythai athletes outside of the motherland of the sport.

With Rafi Bohic just winning the Lumphinee title in the welterweight division (147 pounds) against Pongsiri P.K. Saenchaimuaythai a renowned and difficult opponent, France is once again the talk of the town in the muaythai world. Rafi has become the first ever non-Thai to hold the Lumphinee and Thailand titles at the same time.

Other fellow countrymen to win the Lumphinee title have been Mourad Sari and Damien Alamos and with Fabio Pinca also winning the Rajadamnern title earlier in the year, France are truly on a roll.
