Yohan Lidon: France’s Muaythai Dignity

Yohan Lidon, the renowned French fighter whom many consider to be the best in his weight category has had an exciting career span across 15 years. Residing in Lyon, France, Yohan began training muaythai at the age of 15, training at the gym boxing St-Fons under famed coach Nasser Kacem.

Yohan has amassed over 100 fights during his extensive career and holds notable wins over Samy Sana, Cedric Doumbe and Marat Grigorian to name a few.

In 2016 defeated WMC champion Ben Hodge in a rematch bout to became the new Super Middleweight champion. Then in 2018 beat Vladimir Moravcik from Slovakia to win the super middleweight title for the second time.

As one of the most respected fighters to have come out of France, Yohan is a role model to many and we hope to see him back in the ring once the current Covid situation has lifted.
