Freedom Fighter Promotions 2
On Friday the 19th November the city of New York will host an evening of muaythai action as Freedom Fighter Promotions returns with another world-class event.
The event which is sanctioned by the WMC will see a headline fight for the available intercontinental lightweight title (61.22KG) which will see Amine Ballafrikh from Morocco take on the USA’s own Eric Luna. Both fighters have been training intensely ahead of the bout so fireworks are expected.
The United States Muaythai Federation are stepping up their promotions as there are only 8 months before the United States will host the World Games 2022.
USMF President Michael Corley stated that now is the time we have to test the American athletes against the best in the world as July 7th is the opening of the World Games which will see the best muaythai fighters competing from around the world.
IFMA Director Charissa Tynan stated that USMF has done outstanding work over the last 6 years through their youth development programmes to build Team USA. Thailand will host the world qualifier with 80 invited countries from December the 5th to 11th.
Good luck to all the athletes in New York this Friday!
