Morales vs Rachid: Intercontinental Bout

Saturday, January the 28th is set to kick start the muaythai year in the US as Freedom Fighter Promotions returns for its 11 edition. USMF, the IFMA muaythai federation in the US has just been recognised by both the USA Olympic and Paralympic Committees. This a tremendous achievement for USMF to be recognised after all the hard work they have put in over recent years.

Freedom 11 will feature a full roster of international fighters from the USA to Morocco alongside some of the USA’s hottest upcoming prospects which will be held at the famous Queen’s Theatre in New York.

Competing for the vacant WMC intercontinental title in the welterweight division (67kg) will be USA Freedom champion Luis Morales who will fight one of Morroccos’ finest champions, Hamza Rachid in a much-anticipated bout.

Luis Morales scored a scary KO victory to claim the USA title last July and now he looks to show the world he is not only the best in the country, but in the world, as he fights the Moroccan champion.

Hamza Rachid competed against Capitan Petchyindee at this year’s World Games, and is bringing his ring experience of over 120 fights with him for this Freedom world title fight.

Will the USA Freedom Champion Luis Morales claim the most prestigious belt in Muay Thai, or will Hamza Rachid prove his experience advantage enough to upset everyone in America?

Tune in January 28th to find out!
