Vladimír Moravčík: Pride of Slovakia
Vladimir Moravcik needs no introduction in the world of muaythai as a top athlete, coach and an overall contributor to the development of the sport.
Also known as Dracula, Vladimir started training at the Fire Gym in his hometown of Banska Bystrica in Slovakia after he left the army. His coach Martin Belak quickly realised that he had a natural talent and began training and preparing him to fight at the professional level.
Vladimir has had a successful career with notable opponents including Artur Kyshenko, Cosmo Alexandre and Yodsaenklai Fairtex to name a few.
He holds a win over Yohan Lidon from France who many consider to be the best pound for pound fighter at that weight. Vladimir also beat Marco Pique from the Netherlands for the WMC European Title.
One of Vladimir’s personal best victories was against Diesellek TopKingBoxing at the prestigious Rajadamnuen Stadium in Bangkok where he stunned many, taking the victory by KO.
He also fought Weerawaut Kaewkamnerd from Thailand for the WMC Intercontinental Title emerging victorious and is a 2 time WMC I 1 Champion.
Vladimir is an amazing athlete and inspiration to many, from all at the WMC we salute you!
