Epic 11 Results

PERTH, AUSTRALIA – Epic Fight Promotions held another massive show for their 11th instalment.

Main event saw Kim Olsen take on Tainui Crouch from QLD. Kim Olsen controlled this from the start losing long range techniques and staying away from Tainuis dangerous hands. Kim proved to be too strong as he picked up momentum in round 3 forcing the pace, cutting off the ring and cornering Tainui where he unloaded with a series of knees and elbows, dropping him for an eight count with a jumping knee. Following this, finished him off with a barrage of knees to end the fight winning by TKO.

WMC World Champion took, Caley Reece took on WMC German Champion Dilara Yildiz. Both girls started the fight fast and explosive. Caley looking dangerous with super fast counter low kicks. Both girls displayed awesome all around technique and beautiful clinch work but Caley was just too fast and too strong, looking as though she hurt Dilara several times with knees in the grapple. Caley came away with a comfortable win.

Australias up and comer Jamie Lunghitano stepped it up a notch and took on World Champion Frankie Giorgi. Jamie asked for a tough match up which is what he got. Jamie showed too much respect in the first two rounds and Frankie landed some hard right kicks to the legs and body. In round three, Jamie landed several strong punches that seemed to rock Frankie and this found Jamie with new found confidence. From this point on, it was a fight that see sawed backwards and forwards with both fighters hurting one another with shots for the remainder of the bout. Frankie proved to be a little bit too strong and took the win on points.

The Epic Super 4 was three toe to toe fights. First fight seeing Ben Cant take on Ben Worsfold in a nail biter seeing Ben Cant through to the final. Second fight was Tyler Hardcastle taking on Yann Troubat with Tyler scoring a knockdown in round 2, winning the fight and advancing through. The final was won by Australias up and comer and junior fighter at 17, Tyler Hardcastle.

Other results included Mike Wiktora points over Filipp Vinograd, Kim Townsend points over Nuengsian Sitpolek, Mark Job points over Josh Spurway, Alicia Pestana points over Tali Silbermann, Lloyd Dean TKO over Kyle Bilson for WMC State Title, Dyllan Olsen points over Matt Moss, Alex Amoroso points over Garth Capper, Alice Weinthal points over Chantel Jones and two junior bouts – Evie Nicolopolous points over Hannah Ashleigh and Michael Ghavalas TKO over Jake Kingwell.
