Myriame Djedidi: Road to Success

Myriame Djedidi has become one of France’s finest exports in recent years and has conquered both the amateur and professional scenes in muaythai. Hailing from Morgat in France Myriame began training at a young age and has been dubbed as the Queen of muaythai in France.

On the amateur side Myriame is a frequent guest at the IFMA championships and went home with a gold model at both the 2017 and 2018 European Championships.

On the professional side Myriame won the European title in a bout against Vanessa De Waele from Belgium then went on to defend her title against Polina Petrova from Russia, winning by decision.

She became the Intercontinental champion following a valiant performance against Canadian athlete Yumiko Kawano from Canada in what was an epic battle.

The future is looking bright for Myriame as a possible world title bout is in the pipeline, with Funda Alkayis from Turkey being considered as the no 1 contender. From all at the WMC we look forward to continuing to watch your career go with pride.
