NEW WMC NATIONAL CHAMPION IN FINLAND
On Saturday the 9th of April, ”Muay Thai Fight@Kokkola”, was organised by the local Muaythai Gym: Kru Yap Muaythai in Finland which was a night to remember. The gala which was sanctioned by the WMC included a total of 15 fights, both with amateur and professional rules.
The main event of the gala, was the fight for the WMC Finnish Champion title in the female 135lbs/61KG lightweight category between Miina Sirkeoja, Chitalada Finland and Lotta Honkanen, MMA Joensuu.
The fight started off fast-paced then Sirkeoja began to dominate the fight with her strong techniques and manage to cut her opponent with a strong elbow strike in the third round resulting in the fight being stopped by the referee.
The new WMC Finnish Champion 135lbs Miina Sirkeoja has already won 3 amateur Finnish Championships with gold medals and was awarded as ”The Best Female Fighter of the Finnish Championships 2021”.
