Slovakia are Sending their A-Team to the World Games

With the World Games Birmingham, USA just around the corner, Slovakia has prepared their best male and female athlete to to represent their country. The Games will be held from the 7th to the 17th of July and will feature IFMA’s best of the best who have all made the team through a series of qualification events. Monika Chochlikova and Lukas Mandinec will be representing Team Slovakia this time round, both of whom need no introduction in the muaythai world.

Monika Chochlikova won gold medal at the IFMA World Championships in Bangkok in December 2021 and also defeted Funda Alkayis from Turkey to become the WMC world champion in August 2021.

Lukas Mandinec, the WMC Slovakian national champion also became the WMC intercontinental champion after beating Muhammadi “Jojo” Jahongir in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in November 2021.

Both athletes have been training hard ahead of the event and have left no stone unturned in preparation.

The WMC would like to wish both of these elite athletes the best of luck as they represent their country and the sport at the highest level.
