Super 4 Tournament to be Held in Greece

The WMC MUAYTHAI night will take place on the 17th of December 2022, at the Olympic Boxing Center “G. Stefanopoulos” in Peristeri, with the main event being the big WMC international 4-man match-up.

Specifically, in the 66.68 kilos category, the following athletes will compete: the Italian Angelo Bernardoni, the Spanish Jose Maria Quevedo Tapia, the Cypriot Christos Eygenioy, and the Greek athlete Dimos Asimakopoulos.

With 22 fights, 18 wins of which 10 ended in Knockout, Dimos Asimakopoulos does not need an introduction to the Greek Muaythai audience. Dimos, as a member of the National Team, has won 3 bronze medals in the European Championships, and recently particpated in the summer of 2022- at The World Games, in Alabama, USA. He is a formidable fighter, never to be taken lightly by any opponent, and is also on a streak, coming from a second-round win a few days ago, versus the Italian Armando Sanzica.

The 4-man is complemented by uniquely formidable opponents.

The hardened 31-year-old Spanish Jose Maria Quevedo Tapia, has fought in top promotions with a stunning record of, 79 fights, 53 wins, 23 loses and 4 draws.

The Italian fighter of Max Muay Thai, Angelo Bernardoni, has 18 wins (5KO), 8 losses, and 1 draw, the “tall one” from the seaside town of Ortona with a height of 1.91cm, has -rightfully so- the nickname “Stickman”.

The 28-year-old Cypriot, Christos Eygenioy, has 9 pro fights but 52 amateur ones and is willing and ready to claim the great prize which the winner of the 4-man will “wear”, the newly arrived, from Thailand, WMC “Super 4 Champion” belt.

The Olympic Center is opening its doors to all fans of fighting sports on Saturday 17th of December 2022, at 20:00 for the -full of action- WMC night.
