The Return of the Gunslinger
Just a few months ago the whole muaythai circuit was saddened to hear the news that John Wayne Parr the living legend would hang up his gloves. Parr, a two time WMC world champion and Contender finalist decided to throw in the towel after over 20 years of ring service with his final fight been a high-profile boxing fight.
During a recent trip to Singapore Parr cornered Rocky Ogden the boyfriend of his daughter Jazzy at ONE Championship and was seen pictured with CEO Chatri Sidyodtong which lead to much speculation online regarding what the 2 icons discussed.
A couple of days later Parr took to social media to officially announce that he had signed a fight contact with the ONE championship organisation much to the pleasure of his many fans around the world.
The gunslinger stated on social media that he was finding it difficult to come down from the sport as fighting is the only thing he has ever known and he feels on top of the world to be back where he belongs.
John Wayne Parr proving once again that age is just a number and like a fine wine he appears to be getting better with age.
