The WMC Honours Miriam Nakamoto

Miriam is a name that needs no introduction in the muaythai world and is one of the best fighters to have ever graced American soil. Also known as the Queen of Mean, Miriam had a stunning muaythai career retiring undefeated with 14 professional wins.

Miriam has defeated some of the world’s best, Julie Kitchen from England, Chantal Ughi from Italy, Claire Haigh from Luxembourg, Australia’s Angie Parr, and so many more.

Miriam competed out of the world renowned CSA Gym in California under the tutelage of famed coach Kirian Fitzgibbons. In 2012 Miriam became the WMC world Champion by beating Sandra Bastian from Canada by way of knock out in round 3.

Aside from her professional career, Miriam also won gold medal at the IFMA world championship and was voted best athlete of the event.
