The World is Getting Ready for the King and Queen’s Cup 2023

Fathers Day is a national holiday in Thailand on December 5th. It is the day that Thai people honor and thank their families for the contribution they make to their children’s lives. It serves also as the yearly occasion to remember the late King Bhumibol Adulyadejwho sadly passed away on October 13th 2016.

IFMA, together with two national recognized federations in Thailand, AMTAT and PAT, the Ministry of Sport, the Sport Authority of Thailand and the National Sports Development Fund once again organized this worldwide celebration on this special day where there will be 12 exciting male and female bouts where athletes from around the world will compete for the honor of receiving the King and Queens Cup for the 2 most outstanding athletes.

The weigh in took place at the most special venue, Iconsiam as part of the Muaythai Softpower Festival with the support of the Minstiry of Commerce and what better location could there be as we consider muaythai to be the true “Icon of Siam.” The event will see athletes from Thailand, Malaysia, France, Korea, United Kingdom, Cambodia, Scotland, USA, Iran, Australia, Israel and Finland in a worldwide televised event.

Good luck to all the Super Athletes and may the best female and male athletes of the event be given the honor to receive these two glorious trophies.
