WMC India Ranking Series 13

WMC India was proud to host on the 1st & 2nd December, a collaboration with Supremacy India as they conducted the Supremacy fight, WMC Ranking Series 13. The event ran across 2 days hosting teams from across India with professional fights starting on the 2nd at 6pm.

The audience witnessed some of India’s best Muaythai fighters showcasing their skills in the ring. The professional fight night consisted of 7 WMC pro bouts and 7 supremacy fights. The co-main event was for the WMC WB state belt between Arko Banerjee and Rahul Mandal. Both are top-ranking fighters in the state of West Bengal and at the end of the bout, Rahul Mandal was crowned as the West Bengal state WMC title belt.

The main event was the WMC East India title bout between two of the best WMC fighters in the lightweight division, Shoeb Ali and Animesh Dhige. Both the fighters fought like true warriors and entertained the crowd for all five rounds. In the end, Shoeb took the fight by dropping Animesh twice to the canvas, and the local boy was crowned as the first ever WMC East Indian champion and also received a fighter of the night trophy. Aside from this, Kavya Kirodian, the IFMA Asian champion of 2019 and youth rising star award winner of the first ever WMC state title winner from Maharashtra was awarded best female fighter of the night.

This was truly history in the making and the first time in the history of West Bengal that an event has hosted a high-level professional muaythai tournament. The quality of the event and the fights were exceptional.
