Bobo Sacko: Inside Look at a Champion
Bobo Sacko AKA the Panther is the current WMC World Welterweight Champion and an inspiration to many up and coming athletes.
Coming from a modest background in a rough suburb of Paris of which many describe as a ghetto, Bobo was frequently on the wrong side of the law as a youth until his older brother introduced him to muaythai where he quickly found redemption.
Training under the tutelage of coach Nicolas Subileau at the Team Biloas Muaythai Gym, Bobo has won 4 national titles and had some amazing wins over some of the biggest names in the game including Liam Harrison, Petchboonchu F.A Group, Rafi Bohic, Singmanee Kaewsamrit and even Jimmy Vienot, the current WMC World Middleweight Champion.
Bobo became the WMC world welterweight champion (66.67kg) with a valiant win over Chadd Collins from Australia in December 2019.
Talks are now taking place as to who Bobo should face to defend his world title with the opponent so far likely to be flying in from Thailand.
