Wu Fights

One of China’s most historical cities, Foshan will be the host city to the Opening of the Wu Fights Series. The event, under the umbrella of the WMC will be hosted for the next 12 months in a monthly tournament inviting the best muaythai athletes from all continents.

96 Athletes will compete in six weight divisions to decide the champions. The event will also help to promote the 2017 World Games.

In its first press conference Albert Yu CEO of Wu Fights stated “This event series will set a new standard for muaythai in China. It is an amazing opportunity for the Chinese athletes to compete against the best in the world handpicked by the World Muaythai Council and certainly IFMA, the world governing body for amateur muaythai. The event also will help to foster cultural exchange, promoting China to the world whilst also bringing the world to China.”

The event will kick off this Saturday in a live-telecasted inaugural event which will be broadcast around the world. Winners will advance to the next round and each card will feature Female super fights in order to promoted female muaythai which is gaining immense popularity in China.
